BP-25DA

Preamplifier provides a digital interface using state-of-the-art Digital to Analogue Converters on 2 switchable Stereo SPDIF inputs (RCA) and Bryston's fully discrete Class A operational amplifier sections.

This Digital to Analog option provides a state of the art upgrade path for customers wanting to improve the digital capability of their stereo CD or DVD players. Simply plug the digital out from the CD/DVD player into the Bryston BP20/25 DA. The quality of sound using fully discrete operational amplifiers, rather than the typical IC's, has to be heard to be believed.

The D to A and Bryston Discrete Operational Amplifiers are on an independent circuit board and is offered as an option on the BP20 or BP25 Preamplifiers.

FEATURES INCLUDE: Bryston proprietary Class A Discrete Operational Amplifiers State-Of-The-Art Crystal Semiconductor CS 43122 DAC's DAC clock is totally asynchronous from incoming clock to eliminate Jitter 16 kHz to 108 kHz input sample rate 24 Bit word length capability Input transformer for precise impedance matching and ground isolation Two independent grounds - one digital - one analog Separate regulation of DAC and Digital input receiver prevents interference between digital and analog signals

CS 43122

CS43122 Product Diagram

The CS43122 is a complete high-performance 24-bit, 192 kHz stereo digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion system. The device includes a digital interpolation filter followed by an oversampled, 5-bit Delta-Sigma modulator that drives second-order dynamic-element-matching (DEM) selection logic.

The output from the DEM block controls the input to a multi-element switched capacitor D/A converter/low-pass filter with fully differential outputs. This multi-bit architecture features significantly lower out-of-band noise and jitter sensitivity than traditional 1-bit designs. The advanced second-generation DEM guarantees low noise and distortion at all signal levels.

The CS43122 is the optimal D/A converter solution for any application that requires high performance and superior sound quality. It is ideal for high-end consumer and professional audio products including universal DVD players, audio/video receivers, outboard D/A converters, CD players, and mixing consoles.
